We are studying through a 4-week session titled "Christ the Center."
We live in a culture that does not acknowledge the centrality and
sufficiency of Christ. Some students, because they do not have a
good grasp of the truths of the gospel, are easily shaken when the
exclusive claims of the gospel of Christ are challenged. Other Christians
do not live Christ-centered lives. This study will challenge students to recognize and submit to the centrality of Christ in all of their lives.
Sunday Evening 6:00 PM
These nights are really mix-it-up nights! Some nights we will meet in the youth room for dinner or snacks, some we may be hosted at a church member's home, and still other nights we may meet somewhere else.
Plan to be a part of Sunday nights, bring along a friend, and don't miss one...you never know what will happen!
Wednesday Evening 6:30 PM
Currently, we are going through a series called "Foundations."
This is a great study for our young people as it focuses on
just what the name implies: the foundations of Christianity.
Over the course of the next year we will cover the Bible, God,
Jesus, the Holy Spirit, Creation, and Salvation.
The youth room is open at 6:00 PM for youth to arrive early
to play pingpong or just hang out.
We begin at 6:30 PM with an ice-breaker (fun activity/game).
We share prayer requests and learn what is going on
in each other's lives. We dig into God's Word with
our focus on accomplishing 3 things:
- Know the Truth! - Do I understand what the verse (God) is saying?
- Bring it Home! - How does God want me to apply this in my life?
- Make the U-Turn! - What do I need to change as a result of this truth?
