Joshua 6
#1. THE OBSTACLE .
Now the gates of Jericho were securely barred because of the Israelites. No one went out and no one came in. Joshua 6:1
#2. THE PLAN.
2 Then the Lord said to Joshua, “See, I have delivered Jericho into your hands, along with its king and its fighting men. 3 March around the city once with all the armed men. Do this for six days. 4 Have seven priests carry trumpets of rams’ horns in front of the ark. On the seventh day, march around the city seven times, with the priests blowing the trumpets. 5 When you hear them sound a long blast on the trumpets, have the whole army give a loud shout; then the wall of the city will collapse and the army will go up, everyone straight in.”

#3. THE VICTORY!
20 When the trumpets sounded, the army shouted, and at the sound of the trumpet, when the men gave a loud shout, the wall collapsed; so everyone charged straight in, and they took the city. Joshua 6:20
How can we overcome the OBSTACLES that keep us from Moving Forward with God:
#1. Realize the God has a PLAN.
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
#2. Understand the place of PURITY in your life.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. Matthew 5:6
#3. Exercise your FAITH in God.
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1
#4. Practice PATIENCE on the Journey.
I waited patiently for the Lord; He turned to me and heard my cry. Psalm 40:1
#5. Control your SELF.
Better a patient person than a warrior, one with self-control than one who takes a city. Proverbs 16:32
#6. Claim the PROMISES of God.
Not one of all the Lord’s good promises to Israel failed; every one was fulfilled. Joshua 21:45
#7. Have confidence in the LEADERS in your life.
So the Lord was with Joshua, and his fame spread throughout the land. Joshua 6:27
