5 SOLAS – SOLUS CHRISTUS – CHRIST ALONE

Acts 4: 1-12

According to the authority of Scripture Alone we are saved by Grace Alone through Faith Alone in Christ Alone for the Glory of God Alone.

#1 THE COST OF STANDING ON THE TRUTH vv. 1-4

#2 THE QUESTION OF AUTHORITY vv. 5-7

#3 THE CLEAR ANSWER – CENTRALITY OF JESUS vv. 8-10

#4 CHRIST ALONE – EXCLUSIVITY OF JESUS  vv.11-12

Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”

Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. 18 And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. Matthew 16:16-18 (NIV)
