Ephesians 5:25-33; 6:4

#1 LOVE YOUR WIFE. v. 25

  • SACRIFICIAL Love v. 25
  • PURIFYING Love vv. 26-27
  • CARING Love vv. 28-30
  • UNBREAKABLE Love v. 31

This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church. However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband. Ephesians 5:32-33 (NIV)

#2 DON’T FRUSTRATE YOUR KIDS. Ephesians 6:4

Fathers, don’t exasperate your children by coming down hard on them. Take them by the hand and lead them in the way of the Master. Ephesians 6:4 (MSG)

#3 LEAD YOU CHILDREN TO HONOR THE SAVIOR.

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6 (KJV)

STEPS TO BEING THE GODLY MAN YOU WANT TO BE
·       Passionately PURSUE Jesus
·       Value your family with the currency of T-I-M-E
·       Provide UNCONDITIONAL love
·       Use your WORDS
·      Look for ways to take a STEP forward everyday
