CONDITIONS OF THE HEART

#1 HARD HEARTSvv. 14-15

  • Reality: Satan STEALS the work of the Word.
  • Result: No Growth
  • Resolution: BREAK-UP the ground

#2 SHALLOW HEARTSvv. 16-17

Reality: The troubles of the world STARVES the work of the Word.
Result: No Depth
Resolution: GO Deep!

#3 CROWDED HEARTS vv. 18-19

Reality: The Worries of Life STRANGLE the work of the Word.
Result: No Spiritual Fruit
Resolution: KILL the Weeds

#4 FRUITFUL HEARTS v. 20

Reality: The Word is heard, accepted and it produces SPIRITUAL fruit.
Result: An Abundant Harvest.
Resolution: ENJOY the harvest and PREPARE for the next one.

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9 (NIV)
