John 20:19-29

#1. JESUS REPLACES FEAT WITH PEACE. vv.19-20

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27 (NIV)

#2. JESUS REPLACES FATIGUE WITH PURPOSE. vv.21-22

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Acts 1:8 (NIV)

#3. JESUS REPLACES UNFORGIVENESS WITH THE POWER OF THE GOSPEL. v.23

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes. Romans 1:16 (NIV)

Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name. John 20:30-31 (NIV)
