Virtual VBS

Greetings Families! VBS Is NOT Cancelled! VBS Starts June 15! We are excited to announce that our church family will be participating in VBS TLH, a city-wide Virtual VBS Experience, the week of June 15th! VBS TLH gives our kids and families the opportunity to engage and connect with other families from around our city (and beyond) as we experience the same fun, Bible-focused events from the safety and comfort of our own homes! How does it work? It’s simple, accessible, and can be done at your own pace! Each morning the week of June 15th, join us for a LIVE Worship Rally at 9am on the VBS TLH Facebook Page, where we will connect and engage with the Worship Rally team! Then, access the Rotation Tracks of your choice (music, snack, crafts, and rec) on the VBS TLH website, where you will find 3-5 minute video tutorials that instruct and guide your kids, as well as printable supply lists and step-by-step instruction pages. How can you be part of VBS TLH? Register online at vbstlh.com Join the VBS TLH Facebook Group so you don’t miss a thing!  Click Here to join the Group!  Invite your friends to join you! Regathering

Regathering Thank you to everyone who completed our Church Family Survey. This week I met with our Deacons to discuss our Regathering Plan. This plan is based on prayer, the survey results and guidance from local, state, and national authorities. Our motivation is love for God and love for our neighbors. The state of Florida is currently in Phase 1 of reopening and headed to Phase 2 soon. In the diagram below the National Guidelines and our Church's Response are listed. We will Regather when our state enters Phase 2. During this phase groups of 50 are permitted when social distancing and caution is used. While there is no way to predict when our state will begin Phase 2, we have decided on a Regathering date based on the best information we currently have. On Sunday Morning, June 28, we will have a "Soft Regathering." If you are interested in worshipping in person with us on June 28, at 10:45am, please reply to this email and let us know you are coming or email me at pastor@fbcmonticello.org.  Then, on July 5, we will Regather for Worship. We are developing a plan to keep our church family safe when we Regather. We will describe that plan in detail when we get closer to our Regathering dates.  Take a look at the whole Phased Regathering Plan Phases Regathering Plan  We are praying that as we Regather for Worship the ministry God has done in our lives during the pandemic will effect our worship, our gathering and the closeness of our church family. We miss each other! We need each other!
