Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:7 (NIV)
Giving of tithes and offerings to First Baptist Church Monticello can be done in several ways:
Through the links above you can give a one-time gift or set up future or recurring gifts. Once you have a Realm account you can manage or change recurring gifts and payment information. Please note, your email address for your Realm account will need to match the email address we have on file for you at the church. You may contact the Church Office to update this information.
If you desire, as a symbolic act of worship, you may place an empty offering envelope in the plate during any worship service and simply write on the front of the envelope “Gave Online” when you use the online giving option. Please do not write an amount on the envelope if you give online.
Dear Beloved First Baptist Family,
With a rich history spanning 182 years, our church has been a beacon of support for families and a catalyst for transforming lives. We are thrilled to introduce our approved Capital Initiative, “The Legacy Challenge” (TLC), a testament to our unwavering commitment to God’s work through us for generations to come.
In the spirit of unity and divine wisdom, we have prayerfully identified critical areas in need of attention within our cherished church facility. Each stage of TLC is a step forward, and we invite every member to join us in prayerful support, ensuring that our Lord is honored and glorified throughout this transformative journey.
Our Shared Responsibility and Legacy:
As stewards of a 182-year legacy, we hold a sacred responsibility that transcends time. Our actions today will shape the legacy we pass down to future generations. May our commitment be one of faithful stewardship in all gifts, ensuring that our impact endures.
A Call to Extraordinary Generosity:
To sustain the life-changing ministry to our community, we ask for contributions to The Legacy Challenge above and beyond your regular tithes and offerings. This call to extraordinary generosity signifies our dedication to the mission and ministry God has entrusted to us.
A Vision of Revitalization and Hope:
As we embark on this legacy journey, envision a revitalized First Baptist Church radiating hope. The anticipated transformation will equip us for the divine mission to which God has called us, ensuring our continued impact on lives for years to come.
Transparent Stewardship and Community Engagement:
We recognize the importance of transparency. A detailed breakdown of project priorities and financial allocation will be provided, ensuring your trust in our stewardship. Moreover, we invite you to actively engage in this transformative process, with regular updates, events, and opportunities for shared reflections.
Dear members, let “The Legacy Challenge” be a testimony to our collective faith, a living monument to God’s grace, and a beacon of hope for generations. Join your Vision Team in this exciting venture as we pave the way for a legacy that will stand the test of time.
