Psalm 19

#1. LOOKING UP vv.1-6

The Milky Way Galaxy taken from Earth, our home.

Our Galaxy is not the only one. In, fact some astronomers believer that may be as many as 125 billion galaxies in the universe. The farther we look the more we discover.

An observable spiral galaxy that is believed to be like the Milky Way.

The famous “Pale Blue Dot” image taken by Voyager I in 1990. The Voyager was traveling beyond Pluto, on the way out of your solar system, when it took this image of Earth.

Size comparison of our Sun and the planets. The earth is the first planet on the third row.

Our home with a marker of Monticello, Florida.

The Universe, full of countless galaxies, filed with solar systems and planets are truly indescribable. What is even move mind blowing is the fact  that God created all of it. Psalm 19:1 is right:

The heaven declare the glory of God;the skies proclaim the work of His hands.

Two word that are descriptive of Look Up are:

  • Indescribable
  • Perspective

#3. LOOKING WITHIN vv.13-14

But who can discern their own errors? Forgive my hidden faults. Keep your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me. Then I will be blameless, innocent of great transgression. May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. Psalm 19:12-14 (NIV)
