God the Father – August 25, 2019

#1 We can know and believe in God because God has REVEALED Himself to us. Psalm 19

#2 We can know and believe in God because of His AWE-INSPIRING Attributes.

  • God is Self-existent – Genesis 1:1; Isaiah 57:15
  • God is Immutable – Hebrews 13:8; Malachi 3:6
  • God is Omnipresent – Psalm 139:7-12
  • God is Immense – Romans 11:33-36
  • God is Eternal – 2 Peter 3:8; Revelation 1:8
  • God is Omniscient – Job 38-39; Romans 11:33-36
  • God is Omnipotent – Genesis 17:1; 18:14

#3 We can know and believe in God because we know His NAMES.

  • Elohim – Powerful God – Genesis 1:1
  • Adonai – Lord – Genesis 5:2
  • El Elyon – God Most High – Genesis 14:17-24
  • El Shaddai – Almighty God – Genesis 17:1-8
  • Yahweh – LORD I AM Who I Am – Exodus 3:6-14

#4 We can know and believe in God BEST as our Good, Good Father. Matthew 6:9-13; John 5:17
